Superior Crane and Machining is proud to present its latest project that showcases our fabrication, machining and service departments. Not only did Superior Crane and Machining build these cranes, we also installed them. This is just another great example of how versatile Superior Crane and Machining can be.
This project consists of four 10 Ton Capacity, Top Running, Double Girder, Double Trolley, Floor Controlled Overhead Cranes. These cranes are all D classified (according to CMAA qualifications). All four cranes have a radio and a pendant to control their bridge and hoist movements. Each crane has two front partial service platforms on it. Some other special features include an SCC hoist design featuring a modular gear case with continuous rated motor and disc brake, heat treated wheels, rubber bumpers, rail sweeps and hoists that have upper and lower geared limit switches and block-type limit switches.
